Benefits Setup

Note: This feature is currently in limited release and is not yet available to all customers.

Added the ability to configure flex credit plans so that employees can spend the credit amounts provided by their employer on benefit plans. To support this functionality, the following were added in Dayforce:

• Added a new sub-feature, Flex Credit Plans, under Benefits Setup. In this sub-feature, you can configure flex credit plans with tiers and define credit amounts for each tier.
• In the General tab of Benefits Setup > Plans and Options for health, and life and disability plans, added the Subject to Flex Credit Benefit checkbox. When you select this checkbox, the Flex Credit Plans drop-down list shows. You can select one or more flex credit plans that apply to the benefit plan.
• In the Payroll Mapping tab of Benefits Setup > Plans and Options, added the Flex Credit Amount Used section. In the Earnings drop-down list, you can select the earning or deduction codes to map the flex credit amount to payroll.
• In the Properties tab of Benefits Setup > Enrollments, added the Enable Flex Credit Benefits checkbox in the Flex Credit Benefits section for the Mobile and Web enrollment types. You can select this checkbox to use flex credit benefits for enrollment.
• In the Sections/Elections tab of Benefits Setup > Enrollments, added the Remaining Flex Credit Allocations section. You can configure the benefit plan options for the section so that employees can allocate their remaining flex credit amounts within the enrollment.

In the Sections/Elections tab of Benefits Setup > Enrollments, the Comparison Information section was updated to include the Plan Information category for the Mobile and Web enrollment types. This update applies to the following sections:

• Medical Plans
• Dental Plans
• Vision Plans
