Updated the job status shown when the Pay Summary Recalc background job fails with an error due to a payroll commit. Previously, in this scenario, the status of the job was shown as an error and it wasn't clear that the job had failed. Now, the status has been updated to canceled instead of an error. |

Added the ability to exclude attendance recalculation from the Pay Summary Recalc background job. To support this update, the Skip attendance calculation setting was added to the Pay Summary Recalc background job in System Admin > Background Jobs. When this setting is enabled, Dayforce doesn't recalculate attendance when the job runs. |

Before You Begin: This feature is available only for organizations in Australia and New Zealand. Added a background job that calculates employees’ otherwise working days. An otherwise working day is a day that an employee would typically be scheduled to work if it wasn’t a public holiday or leave day. Some regions, such as Australia and New Zealand, have specific otherwise working day requirements. To support this update, the Calculate Otherwise Work Day Dates background job was added in System Admin > Background Jobs. This job runs in conjunction with Dayforce’s entitlement engine to determine whether employees should be awarded balances for otherwise working days. See item 1319908 in this document. For more information, see “Calculate Otherwise Work Day Dates” in the Dayforce Implementation Guide. |
