For Android, added benefits enrollment functionality to the Benefits feature of the mobile app. Now, US employees can use their mobile devices to add or update their benefits selections during an open enrollment period. New hires can make their benefits selections directly in the app once enrollment is available to them.

Note: Benefit enrollment for mobile is associated with similar functionality enhancements in the main application. See 1082716 for more information.

When you open the Benefits feature, the app displays your available enrollment opportunities on the Benefits overview screen:

Begin Enrollment

On the Benefits overview screen:

  1. Scroll up or down to the enrollment opportunity you want and then tap Start Enrollment.
    To continue an enrollment you started earlier, tap Continue Enrollment.
    Tap Start Over to redo a pending enrollment you have already completed.
  2. Review the information screen and then tap Start Enrollment.
  3. Review your details on the Personal Information screen.
    If required, specify your tobacco use status.
  4. Tap Continue if it is correct or tap Finish Later and contact your manager to update any missing or incorrect information.

Depending on the benefits options available to you, completing a new benefits enrollment or updating existing selections requires some or all of the following actions as configured by your organization:

  • Add or edit dependents.
  • Add or edit beneficiaries.
  • Select your plans.
  • Select your health savings accounts.
  • Select your insurance options.
  • Select your retirement savings plan.
  • Select your other benefit plans.
  • Designate which of your dependents and/or beneficiaries are associated with each option.
  • Review and submit your selections.

Note: To review all the available option cards for each plan, scroll up and down.

Add or Edit Dependents

You can add, edit, or remove dependents, and later specify which ones are associated with each plan option you select.

On the Dependent Information screen, tap a dependent’s name to edit or remove them, or tap Add Dependent to add a new one. When you are finished, tap Continue.

Add or Edit Beneficiaries

In addition to the dependents you cover with your health benefits, you can also add, edit, or remove other beneficiaries that can receive the benefits from your insurance.

On the Beneficiary Information screen, the app displays your dependents first, followed by your beneficiaries. Tap a beneficiary’s name to edit or remove them, or tap Add Beneficiary to add a new one. When you are finished, tap Continue.

Select Your Plans

Depending on the options available to you, you can select your medical, dental, vision, as well as other health and reimbursement plans.

On the screen for each option, complete the following steps:

  1. If required, select which dependents will be covered.
  2. Select your plan and then tap Continue. In some cases, you might have the option to waive a plan option instead.
  3. If required, provide care provider information for yourself and any covered dependents on the Care Providers screen.
  4. Tap Done.

Select Your Health Savings Accounts

If a health savings account or Healthcare FSA is available to you, you can select your accounts and set your annual contribution amounts. If the option is available, you can decide to waive your account option instead.

To configure your health savings account and/or healthcare FSA:

  1. On the screen for each account type, select your account and then enter your annual contribution amount. The contribution amount is set to zero by default.
  2. Tap Done.

Select Your Insurance Options

If available, select life and AD&D insurance options for yourself and your dependents. If other variable coverage plans are available, you can also configure those for yourself and any dependents:

  1. On the screen for each available insurance option, select your plan and then tap Continue.
  2. On the Beneficiary Designation screen, select a primary beneficiary and, optionally, contingent beneficiaries.
  3. Set an allocation percentage for each beneficiary you have selected, and then tap Done.
  4. Review your selection and then tap Continue.

Select Your Retirement Savings Plan

If available, you can select one or more retirement savings plans and set your contribution amounts. If the option is available, you can decide to waive your account option instead.

To configure your retirement savings plans:

  1. On the screen for each account type, select your account and then enter your contribution amount. The contribution amount is set to zero by default.
  2. Tap Continue.

Select Other Benefits Plans

On the Additional Benefit Plans screen, select any additional plans, if available, and then tap Continue.

Review and Submit Your Selections

You can review all your benefits enrollment selections on the Review screen.

If you want to make changes:

  1. Tap No, Change Elections to review each selection from the beginning and make any necessary changes.
  2. Once you are satisfied with your selections, tap Yes, Continue to submit your benefits elections.
  3. Review any additional information and next steps on the Submitted! screen, and then tap Return to Benefits to return to the Benefits overview screen.

You can view your current benefits elections any time on the Benefits overview screen.
