We've collaborated with the Optimization and Innovation team to expand the selection of Modern Award Templates for Australia. With this latest release, we're excited to introduce the following seven new templates for the Australian Modern Awards in the Activate Pay Policies Wizard:
- Higher Education Industry – Academic Staff Award
- Higher Education Industry – General Staff Award
- Cleaning Services Award
- Children’s Services Award
- Mining Industry Award
- Dry Cleaning and Laundry Industry Award
- Education Services (Teachers) Award
These policies are in the Australian Policies section of the Build Dayforce > Pay Policies Wizard. After installing the data with the Pay Policies wizard, Activate automatically installs all necessary rules, qualifiers, and dependent configurations. Due to the potential need for additional configuration after the Activate installation, only Dayforce and partner implementers can view and add Modern Awards. Furthermore, Employee Properties referenced in all Modern Awards have been improved, ensuring that a distinct Employee Property is installed for each Modern Award policy.
