You can view, edit, and submit forms in the Forms feature of the Dayforce mobile app. When you tap Forms in the navigation menu, the mobile app redirects you to the Forms tab in Profile of the web application, while you remain within the mobile application. From here, you can view and submit forms just as you would in the web application.
Role feature access:
- Mobile > Forms > Web Forms
- Profile > Profile Menu > Forms > Home Forms List
For the most mobile-optimized user experience, here are a few best practices when creating custom forms for display on mobile:
- Arrange form components vertically. Vertical scrolling is a familiar and comfortable action for mobile users.
- Aim to limit horizontal alignment to a maximum of two components per row.
- Avoid creating grids due to the challenges of horizontal scrolling on smaller screens. If a grid is necessary, limit it to a maximum of 4 columns.
- Before publishing a new custom form for use, test it by logging into Dayforce on a mobile web browser and going to the Forms tab in Profile.
