The workflow diagrams in Workflow Designer consist of nodes connected together with inbound or outbound links. You can set properties for each node to configure it and determine its behavior. For example, you can configure a node to generate a message or forward a form to a manager for approval. You can configure a link that follows a Decision node with a response type, which determines the decision represented by the link.
When a node or a link is selected in the workflow diagram, its properties are shown in the properties sidebar on the right.
All workflow nodes require a name, which is shown on the node in the diagram. They can also be configured with an optional description. If a link is configured with a response type, its name is the name of the response type and it can’t be edited. Otherwise, you can edit the name and description for links.
