Worked Current Shift Qualifier

The Worked Current Shift Qualifier restricts an associated rule so that it examines or impact shifts only if the employee worked the scheduled shift. Using the qualifier’s settings, you configure what is considered eligible work.

Setting Description
Pay codes eligible The pay codes that mark eligible work. When Dayforce examines an employee’s shift, if eligible work occurs on the shift, the associated rule runs. Leave blank and the qualifier doesn’t examine pay codes when determining eligible time.
Pay codes ineligible The pay codes that mark ineligible time. When Dayforce examines an employee’s shift, time with an ineligible pay code isn’t considered work.
Pay categories eligible The pay categories that mark eligible work. When Dayforce examines an employee’s shift, if eligible work occurs, the associated rule runs. Leave blank and the qualifier doesn’t examine pay categories when determining eligible time.
Pay categories ineligible The pay categories that mark ineligible work. When Dayforce examines an employee’s shift, time with an ineligible pay categories isn’t considered work.
Consider pay adjustments as worked times Include pay adjustments entered on the employee’s timesheet as worked shifts for the purposes of the calculation.
Allowed minutes for late time in entry The maximum amount, in minutes, of time for which employees can clock in late for a shift without penalty. Shifts for which employees clock in late, below this configured threshold, are considered worked for the purposes of the qualifier.
Allowed minutes for early time out entry The maximum amount, in minutes, of time for which employees can clock out early for a shift without penalty. Shifts for which employees clock out early, below this configured threshold, are considered worked for the purposes of the qualifier.
Number of minutes worked The number of minutes that the employee must have worked during the current shift to qualify for the associated rule. Leave blank and the qualifier doesn’t examine the length of the shift when it runs.
