When you have finished setting up your plans and options, you can validate the configuration by clicking the Validate drop-down list and then selecting Validate Configuration.
Dayforce examines the configuration of all plans and options in Benefits Setup > Plans and Options, checking payroll integration, plans, options by type, and eligibility qualifiers. The validation process helps ensure that plans and options are configured correctly.
The Problems panel shows error and warning messages, marked with an icon that indicates the type of message.
Except for required fields, plans and options can be saved regardless of errors and warnings found when you run the validation process.
Dayforce performs different types of configuration validation, and errors and warnings can be interdependent. As a result, all validation messages might not be returned each time you run the validation process. It is recommended that you run validation after you clear errors and warnings, until no further results are returned.
To export a CSV file that includes all validation messages, regardless of type, click the Validate drop-down list and then select Export Validation Results.
