Before You Begin: This feature can only be enabled by users who log in to the application using a Service role. For more information, contact Dayforce Support. Moreover, this functionality is applicable for US employees only.
You can configure the application so that online earning statements for US employees use the same layout as onsite check earning statements, instead of the standard online earning statement layout. Organizations can enable this functionality to provide a consistent look and feel between online earning statements, onsite check earning statements, and back office earning statements, which also look similar.
Authorized users can enable this functionality by going to the Payroll section in the Properties tab of System Admin > Client Properties, and selecting the Use Onsite Earning Statement Template for US Earning Statements checkbox. This checkbox is cleared by default. Moreover, it is displayed for Service roles only.
When the Use Onsite Earning Statement Template for US Earning Statements checkbox is selected, new or existing online earning statements for US employees will use the onsite check layout in the following areas:
- The Earning Statements tab of the Earnings feature.
- The earning statement preview in Payroll.
- The Statements > Earning Statements screen in People.
Notes:
- When the Use Onsite Earning Statement Template for US Earning Statements checkbox is selected, the Earning Statement report of the Payroll feature isn’t displayed in the list of available reports.
- The Use Onsite Earning Statement Template for US Earning Statements checkbox does not impact the layout of earning statements in Dayforce.
