UK Pension Plan and Option Configuration

This section outlines how to set up the appropriate plan and option configuration for your pension scheme in Benefits Setup > Plans and Options, so that it works properly in conjunction with the assessment and enrolment process.

The plan and option that you set up provide the employee and employer contribution percentages used by the assessment process. The only time these amounts aren't used is if an employee has a manually entered payroll election for a higher contribution percentage in Payroll > Payroll Elections in the People feature (see Add UK Pension Payroll Elections).

You must add a pension plan that will include the auto-enrolled option in Dayforce. The first and second of the following topics describe how to set up the plan and the option, while the third provides extra information about plan and option settings:
