The UK Employee Tax Code Uplift background job is run when tax codes for the year must be updated (uplifted). HMRC advises Dayforce of new tax year Tax Code Uplift before the background job needs to be run.
After an organisation has processed their last pay run at UK year end in March, the UK Employee Tax Code Uplift background job runs automatically, updating tax definitions for employees in the People feature with the date of the start of the new tax year 6 April YYYY.
