The WFM Mapping Tab

In the WFM Mapping tab, you configure the mapping rules that tie payroll-generated earnings to WFM pay codes.

On the left side of the WFM Mapping tab, Dayforce displays a panel where you can configure your mapping ruleset hierarchy. You can define as many WFM mapping rules as required by your organization. Each mapping ruleset hierarchy you configure is tied to a specific pay group (that is, whichever pay group is selected in the left side panel of Pay Setup > Pay Group).

To add a mapping ruleset hierarchy to the selected pay group, go to the WFM Mapping tab, click the add icon, and select Ruleset. Dayforce displays the following settings where you name and describe the ruleset:

WFM Mapping ruleset settings
Setting Description
Name (required) The ruleset name.
Description The ruleset description.

After you add a mapping ruleset, you can add a rule to the ruleset. In the ruleset panel, select Rules, click the add icon, and select Rule. Dayforce displays the following settings where you name and describe the rule, as well as define the duration in which it’s active:

Setting Description
Name (required) The rule name.
Description The rule description.
Start Date (required) The date on which the rule is active.
End Date The date on which the rule is inactive.
Active Checkbox that controls whether the rule is active or inactive.

After you add a new rule, you select the mapping rule type in the Type drop-down list. There is one rule available in the WFM Mapping tab: the WFM Mapping Rule.
