You can use the KPI Thresholds tab in Plan Setup > KPI Metadata to create acceptable thresholds for KPIs in Plan and Schedules. You can use KPI thresholds to manage and maintain labor costs. For example, say that you need to call in an employee to work a “no show” shift (a shift scheduled for another employee who hasn’t clocked in to work at the scheduled start time). The no show employee’s hourly rate is $10 per hour, and the employee you call in has an hourly rate of $14 per hour. Using the KPI Thresholds tab, you can configure a KPI threshold so that a warning appears in the Problems panel in Plan or the KPI panel in Schedules if scheduling this employee exceeds the labor budget.
