See Task Management Configuration.
Task Setup Subfeatures
Task Setup: Enables the Task Setup feature. You must assign subfeature roles under this role feature to gain access to the task management tools.
- Productivity Standards: Enables the Productivity Standards subfeature. Users with access to this feature can configure the options that appear in the drop-down list when Productivity Standard is selected as the duration type for a new ad hoc task in Task Management or a task template in Task Setup > Task Templates.
- Task Categories: Enables the Task Categories subfeature. Users with access to this feature can configure the options that appear in the Task Categories drop-down list for a new task or template. Task categories are used to categorize the tasks that users create for record purposes. Assign this feature to the user roles responsible for configuring the categories.
- Task Group Security: Enables the Task Group Security subfeature. Users with access to this feature can define the task groups each role has access to.
- Task Index Templates: Enables the Task Index Templates subfeature of Task Setup. Users with access to this feature can create, edit, delete, and manage tasks. Task index templates allow users to dynamically allocate budgeted hours to locations based on a static task index value. For example, users could specify that each location receives 25% of the budgeted hours for every assigned task. Once configured, users select the appropriate task index template when they create a task or a task template, and Dayforce automatically assigns the appropriate locations to the task and allocates the correct number of budgeted hours to each.
- Note: Changes will only affect locations at or under the org level the user has been assigned access to.
- Task Phases: Enables the Task Phases subfeature. Users with access to this feature can configure the options shown in the Task Phase drop-down list for a new task or template.
- Task Templates: Enables the Task Templates subfeature. Users with access to this feature can configure the templates that new template tasks are built from.
