This background job recalculates time away from work (TAFW) durations for the future and past period it examines. For example, consider a time off policy that’s configured to determine TAFW durations by evaluating an employee’s weekly hours. If you schedule this job to run daily and an employee’s work pattern changes, it can detect the change and recalculate their TAFW balance based on their new weekly hours.
Before You Begin: To run or schedule this background job, users require access to the Time Away From Work > TAFW Base Unit Duration Recalc role feature in System Admin > Roles in the Features tab. See Time Away From Work.
