System Notifications for Career Explorer

Career Explorer uses several system notifications to remind and motivate employees to achieve their career goals. These notifications, which are listed in System Admin > System Notifications, don’t rely on subscriptions. Instead, Career Explorer determines recipients based on activity in the feature.

These notifications are enabled by default, but if needed, you can disable one or all of them in the Channels tab of System Admin > System Notifications. See System Notifications Configuration.

Notifications used for Career Explorer
Notification Description
Career Explorer - Career Goal Progress Notifies employees when they haven’t made progress on their career goals.
Career Explorer - Completing a career goal Congratulates employees for completing their career goals.
Career Explorer - Internal Job Postings Notifies employees when a job posting is available for an opportunity that they've liked.
Career Explorer - Lack of Career Intelligence Usage Notifies employees when they haven’t accessed Career Explorer for 30 days.
Career Explorer - Mentorship - End Peer Mentorship Notifies employees when their peer mentorship match has ended.
Career Explorer - Mentorship - Invitation Notifies employees when they’re invited to join the Career Explorer mentorship program.
Career Explorer - Mentorship - Peer Match Found Notifies employees when a peer mentorship match is found for them.
Career Explorer - Mentorship - Termination Notifies employees when their peer mentorship match has ended because their peer has left the organization.
Career Explorer - Onboarding Completion Notifies employees when they haven’t completed the first-time skills assessment in Career Explorer.

Career Explorer - Skills Added or Proficiency Changed

Notifies managers when their employees have added a new skill or updated the proficiency for an existing skill in their career profile.

This notification also invites managers to endorse the skills that they’ve observed.
