Submit Guided Processes

A guided process is a set of related forms that are grouped together and presented to you in a single dialog box. For example, all of the forms that you are required to fill out on the first day might be combined into a single guided process. A guided process can be listed along with other forms in the Forms screen of People, or the Forms tab of Profile.

Example of a guided process.

Click Back and Next to move through each form in the guided process. You can complete the forms in any order. Click any form to expand it:

Expanded form in a guided process dialog box.

The buttons at the bottom of the form are specific to the form that is expanded:

  • To save a draft of the form that is expanded, click Save. When done filling out a form, click Submit. Once you do this, the form enters a workflow process, and the top left of the form displays Submitted. Each form in the guided process must go through its own workflow process when submitted.
  • If a form is set up as optional in the guided process, click Skip to skip the form if you decide you don't need to submit it.
  • To print the form, click Print.

When you reach the end of the guided process, and reviewed, submitted, skipped, or saved each form, click Close. When a guided process is closed, Dayforce performs a validation process and displays a warning message that indicates if there forms that haven't been submitted.
