A guided process is a set of related forms that are grouped together and presented to you in a single dialog box. For example, all of the forms that you are required to fill out on the first day might be combined into a single guided process. A guided process can be listed along with other forms in the Forms screen of People, or the Forms tab of Profile.
Click Back and Next to move through each form in the guided process. You can complete the forms in any order. Click any form to expand it:
The buttons at the bottom of the form are specific to the form that is expanded:
- To save a draft of the form that is expanded, click Save. When done filling out a form, click Submit. Once you do this, the form enters a workflow process, and the top left of the form displays Submitted. Each form in the guided process must go through its own workflow process when submitted.
- If a form is set up as optional in the guided process, click Skip to skip the form if you decide you don't need to submit it.
- To print the form, click Print.
When you reach the end of the guided process, and reviewed, submitted, skipped, or saved each form, click Close. When a guided process is closed, Dayforce performs a validation process and displays a warning message that indicates if there forms that haven't been submitted.
