In addition to rules, you can add qualifiers to your staff assignment policy ruleset. These qualifiers act as filters to restrict which staff assignments are evaluated by the Dayforce rule engine. Your policy’s rules and qualifiers determine the sequence in which staff assignments are evaluated for employee schedule compliance.
There are two types of staff assignment qualifiers:
- Employee-based qualifiers, which are based on employee attributes.
- Shift-based qualifiers, which are based on shift attributes.
