Skills Management Configuration

Skills management gives you the ability to customize the list of skills that’s used throughout Dayforce for your organization. You can also specify how these skills are shown to your employees, and which job assignments each skill is associated with.

Skills are used in employee profiles and in many features throughout Dayforce, including Career Explorer, Development Plans, Dayforce Learning, and Recruiting. They’re also used for workforce management to ensure that workers have the necessary skills to work available jobs.

Before You Begin: The skills management functionality is currently in limited release and is not yet available to all customers. Contact your Dayforce support representative for more information.

Note: This service uses the ESCO classification of the European Commission. Custom skills and proficiency levels aren’t supported.
