You can configure Dayforce to show employee skills in Schedules and Centralized Schedules, and in the Printed Schedule Report. This feature is useful for organizations that require employees with certain skills to be present on the schedule.
Role feature access: Schedule Setup > Schedule Setup > Skill Display
For example, you could use this feature to make sure that your store always has at least one scheduled employee with the Fire Safety skill.
To configure skill display in scheduling features, you must have skills configured in Dayforce. You configure these skills in Learning Setup > Skills.
Before you can configure Dayforce to use skills in scheduling features, you must:
- Configure skills. See Skills in the Learning Guide.
- Configure skill types and select the Is WFM checkbox. See Configure Skill Types in the Learning Guide.
- Assign skills to employees in People. See Assign Skills in the Learning Guide.
Next, in Schedule Setup > Skill Display, you must configure which skills are eligible for Dayforce to show in scheduling features.
