In Schedule Setup > Shift Marketplace Setup, you can configure how Dayforce determines shift bidding eligibility for Shift Marketplace employees. This configuration involves adding a location group, which combines shared locations and job assignments to govern which employees can pick up shifts at other locations in Shift Marketplace.
When you add a location group, you configure which locations are eligible for shared employees using the Sharing Organizations setting. To configure which job assignments are eligible to be shared between the locations you set in the Sharing Organizations field, you can add instances of the Job Assignment Rule to the location group.
After you create a Shift Marketplace location group, Dayforce lists it in the Shift Marketplace Setup screen:
Dayforce shows the location group’s general details, including its name and sharing organizations. In the Job Assignment field, the system shows the shared job assignment that’s configured in the location group’s ruleset using the Job Assignment Rule.
