The Shift Lockdown Period Rule specifies the time ranges when you can’t modify shifts. You can specify the lockdown period in calendar days or hours, and within this time range you can’t add, edit, or delete shifts.
In Schedules, Dayforce respects this rule when you use the following options in the Generate drop-down list: Clear, Copy Week, Shift Rotations, Template, and Work Patterns.

| Lockdown Adds | The time range in which you can’t add shifts. |

| Lockdown Edits | The time range in which you can’t edit shifts. |
You can add the Days Since Hire Date Qualifier to this rule to control when it runs.
