Set Up Access for System Administrators

Before You Begin: This is step two in a five-step process for configuring Dashboards access permissions. See Configure User Access to Dashboards.

System admins are users who configure access for other users in your organization. They need to have full access to Dashboards features to perform this role. To configure access for a system admin, you need to provide them with all permissions for Dashboards features in both System AdminRoles and in Dashboards Setup.

User Roles and Access Authorizations

For system administrator user roles, in System AdminRoles, select all of the checkboxes for each of the three Dashboards access authorizations in the Authorizations tab:

All of the access authorizations permissions for Dashboards selected.

In the Features tab in System AdminRoles, select all of the role features under Dashboards:

All of the Dashboards role features selected.

Dashboard and Data Source Access for System Admins

You configure access to dashboards and data sources in Reporting and Analytics > Dashboards > Dashboards Setup.
