To configure a delivery schedule that informs employees in a concurrent bidding session when their submission rounds begin and end:
- In the Messages section in the Notifications Schedules tab, click Add.
- In the Number of Days field, enter a numerical value. This value represents one of the following:
- If you’re configuring the Bidding Round Start notification, this value represents the number of days before or after a bidding round starts that employees receive the notification, depending on how you configure the Selection setting (described in step 3).
- If you’re configuring the Bidding Round End notification, this value represents the number of days before a bidding round ends that employees receive the notification.
- In the Selection drop-down list, specify when the notification is sent to employees:
- If you’re configuring the Bidding Round Start notification, select one of the following options:
- Days before bidding round starts: Dayforce delivers the notification to employees a configurable number of days before the bidding round starts.
- Days after bidding round starts: Dayforce delivers the notification to employees a configurable number of days after the bidding round starts.
- If you’re configuring the Bidding Round End notification, select the following option:
- Days before bidding round ends: Dayforce delivers the notification to employees a configurable number of days before the bidding round ends.
- If you’re configuring the Bidding Round Start notification, select one of the following options:
- The Number of Days and Selection settings work in tandem. The number of days that you specify and the selection that you make in the drop-down list dictate the notification’s delivery schedule. For example, enter 2 in the Number of Days field and select Days before bidding round starts in the Selection drop-down list for the Bidding Round Start notification. With this configuration, Dayforce sends the notification to employees two days before the bidding round’s scheduled start time.
- Click Save.
You can configure Dayforce to send notifications on multiple days or both before and after the bidding round starts, depending on your requirements.
