You can use the Schedule Action Qualifier to determine if schedule acceptance offers should be sent when a schedule is posted, or when changes are made to a posted schedule. You must add this qualifier to each schedule acceptance policy you configure, otherwise problems can occur.

Example of Posting a Schedule
Schedule acceptance offers should be sent to employees when the schedule is initially posted. For this example, configure the schedule acceptance policy as follows:
Rule/Qualifier | Setting | Action |
---|---|---|
Last Approved Schedule Rule |
|
|
Schedule Action Qualifier | Offer Submission Schedule State | Select Posting Schedule. |
With this configuration, Dayforce sends schedule acceptance offers only when the schedule is first posted. If you make any additional schedule edits after posting the schedule, Dayforce doesn’t send schedule acceptance offers to employees.
Example of Saving a Posted Schedule
Schedule acceptance offers should be sent to employees when changes to a break or shift are saved after the schedule was posted. For this example, configure the schedule acceptance policy as follows:
Rule/Qualifier | Setting | Action |
---|---|---|
Last Approved Schedule Rule |
|
|
Schedule Action Qualifier | Offer Submission Schedule State | Select Saving a Posted Schedule. |
With this configuration, Dayforce sends schedule acceptance offers to employees when changes to a break or shift are saved on a posted schedule. However, when you initially post a schedule, Dayforce doesn’t send schedule acceptance offers. Dayforce also doesn’t send offers for any other changes.
