You can use schedule acceptance policies in Dayforce to control the schedule changes that require employee acceptance. For example, you could configure a schedule acceptance policy so that edited shifts don’t require employee acceptance, but added shifts do.
Note: You can create policies that use both schedule acceptance and schedule change rules and qualifiers. See Integrate Schedule Change and Schedule Acceptance Policies.
You can add, edit, and view schedule acceptance policies in Schedule Setup > Schedule Change Policy, in the Schedule Acceptance Policy tab. These policies can contain one or more rulesets, which are collections of rules and qualifiers that Dayforce uses to identify changes that require employee acceptance.
Schedule acceptance policies are assigned to employees in their HR records, either with the HR Import or in the People feature, in the Employment > Employment Settings screen.
