Role Features for Development Plans

Access to the Development Plans functionality is based on the role features assigned in the Features tab of System AdminRoles. The features used for each role are described in more detail in the following sections.

Administrator Roles

Role features for administrators

Role Feature Description
Development Plan Setup (and its subfeatures) Allows administrators to configure which details are displayed and which details are required when creating development plans throughout Dayforce.
System Admin > System Admin > System Notifications (and its subfeatures) Allows administrators to modify the settings for notifications about development plans.
Report Library > Development Plans > Development Plans Report Allows administrators to report on development plan information for employees, including plan status and any associated activities, from Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Reports.

Manager Roles

Role Feature Description
Development Plans > Team Plans Allows managers to view development plans created by their employees.
Report Library > Development Plans > Development Plans Report Allows managers to report on development plan information for employees, including plan status and any associated activities, from Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Reports.

Learning (For Classic Learning)

Allows employees to complete courses and learning plans for their career plans.
