Review Identified People and Approve Their Data for Deletion

Before You Begin: The Person Management > Review And Approve tab doesn't display records while the data minimization process is running.

After the personal data management background job has run on your Dayforce instance, the Person Management > Review And Approve tab displays an updated list of people whose data was identified to be outside the data retention policy thresholds. You can click a person's name to view more details about the person, such as which policies caused them to be identified and a history of the policies that they have been associated with.

By default, you need to approve the deletions before Dayforce will remove the data on the next 90-day cycle. It’s recommended that you use the manual approval method so that you can make sure that the data for identified people should actually be deleted. Alternatively, you can enable auto approval so that the application automatically assigns the approved status and then deletes the identified records at the end of the 90-day cycle.
