The import triggers the New Hire/Rehire event for rehires when the employee’s existing status in Dayforce is terminated and the status added in the file is active. Also, the Hire Date field in the file must be within the threshold of the HR Import Event Threshold in Days field in the General section in the Properties tab of System Admin > Client Properties.
Note the following additional information:
- The event isn’t triggered if the employment status in the file is inactive, or the existing status in Dayforce is inactive.
- For rehires, Dayforce doesn’t check the work assignment when determining whether to trigger the New Hire/Rehire event.
