After the HSA provider, HSA contributions, and optional employer matches are configured, you need to assign the deduction representing the employee contributions to the employees who are contributing to an HSA account. This follows the normal payroll election process for recording payroll elections.

Ensure that an account number is specified in the Parameters section when the payee for the deduction is selected.
