Before you can set up leave projection functionality in Dayforce, you need to assign role feature and role authorization access in System Admin > Roles, and configure a client property in System Admin > Client Properties:

A manager requires role feature access to People to assign entitlement policies and balances to employees, and role authorization access to employee balance information. Note: If necessary, you can configure Dayforce so that these tasks are the responsibility of an administrator. Role feature access:
