Prerequisites for Leave Projection

Before you can set up leave projection functionality in Dayforce, you need to assign role feature and role authorization access in System Admin > Roles, and configure a client property in System Admin > Client Properties:

Role	Description
Administrator	An administrator requires role feature access to some Pay Setup sub-features to configure leave projection. Role feature access: Pay Setup > Pay Setup > Balances > Balance Definition Pay Setup > Pay Setup > Entitlements > Entitlement Definitions Pay Setup > Pay Setup > Entitlements > Policies Pay Setup > Pay Setup > Pay Code
Manager	A manager requires role feature access to People to assign entitlement policies and balances to employees, and role authorization access to employee balance information. Note: If necessary, you can configure Dayforce so that these tasks are the responsibility of an administrator. Employee	Employees require role feature access to features where they can submit time away and review their balances. Role feature access: Work > Time Away List
