Personal Data Overview

Personal data is any data that, directly or indirectly (that is, on its own or in combination with other pieces of information), can be used to identify a person. In Dayforce, personal data can be associated with your organization’s employees and candidates in the Recruiting feature. The personal data stored in Dayforce has been classified into categories or types.

Each type of data listed above has one or more retention policies associated with it for each country in the EU, by default. You can create new policies for additional countries and enable the policies as required to control which types of data are removed for people in each country. See Personal Data Retention Policies.

If your organization uses Position Management, Dayforce doesn’t purge personal data related to positions.
