Personal Data Management Reports

Before You Begin: To allow access to the reports mentioned below, administrators must enable the role feature for each report in the Features tab in System Admin > Roles. The features for the reports are under Report Library > Admin > Personal Data Management.

Dayforce contains several ad hoc reports that you can use together with the Data Management Center functionality to check which employees and candidates are affected by which policies, and to review affected people before the job runs in Identify and Delete mode.

You can access personal data management reports in the Person Management > Review and Approve tab of System Admin > Data Management Center. In that tab, click Reports to open the Reports dialog box, where you can preview and run the reports that are available in that screen. If your user role has access to the Reporting feature, you can also open the reports in the report designer to edit them.

The following data management reports are available in Dayforce:

  • Candidate Detail for Personal Data Management Policy Association: Shows effective-dated demographic information used to determine which personal data management policies to apply to candidates.
  • Candidate Data Minimization Activity: Shows historical or upcoming data minimization activity information for candidate data.
  • Employee Detail for Personal Data Management Policy Association: Shows effective-dated demographic information used to determine which personal data management policies to apply to candidates.
  • Employee Data Minimization Activity: Shows historical or upcoming data minimization activity information for employee data.
  • WFM PDM Logger Results: Shows employee records that violate your data retention policy based on calculations made by the WFM engines (such as attendance, entitlement, and pay).

Reporting administrators can assign other custom reports to the Admin > Personal Data Management report category in Reporting and Analytics > Reporting > Reports to make them available in the Data Management Center. See Report Categories in the Ad Hoc Reporting Guide.
