Performance – Process Scheduled Reviews

This background job assesses the eligibility of employees assigned to a review cycle in Performance. When the job identifies an employee as eligible, Dayforce sends the manager and employee a notification informing them that the review is active. Further, Dayforce sends administrators a notification if any errors occur when the background job runs. These eligible employees are then included in the Assigned List tab of the review cycle.

Note: This background job is scheduled to run nightly, by default. If for some reason this background task doesn’t run on a particular day, you must run this background job manually to include eligible employees.

Setting Description

AsOfDate

The date from which the background job will assess eligibility.

This date should match the review cycle eligibility requirements and the review schedule setup.

Example:

  • For the new hire review cycle type, if eligibility is 30 days from the new hire date and an employee was hired on January 1, 2021, enter 1/31/2021 (30 days from January 1) in this field for the employee.
  • For the anniversary review cycle type, if the assignment date is offset by 90 days after the anniversary date and an employee’s anniversary is on October 12, use January 10 of the following year (90 days from October 12) in this field for this employee. For example, for the year 2021 enter 1/10/2021.
  • For the periodic review cycle type, if the review period is 30 days for a periodic review assigned on December 1, 2020 with an offset of 5 days before, enter 12/27/2020 (30 days from November 27) in this field for this employee.
  • For the new hire review cycle type, if eligibility is 30 days from the new hire date and an employee was hired on January 1, 2021, enter 1/31/2021 (30 days from January 1) in this field for the employee.
