Performance Notifications

Dayforce provides several notifications for Performance. To make sure that the correct users receive the appropriate notifications, configure subscriptions by role or user in the Subscriptions tab of System Admin > System Notifications. The application sends these notifications to Message Center and to any email addresses configured to receive notifications.

Important: SMS notifications aren’t available for Performance; Dayforce generates an error upon save if you try to enable them.

Notifications available for Performance
Notification	Description
Calibration Session Creation - Admin	Notifies administrators when new calibration sessions are created for the organization.
Calibration Session Creation - Participants	Notifies users when they're added as participants in a calibration session.
Performance Conversation Post	Notifies users of new conversation posts or reply posts in Performance > Conversations, according to the defined conversation visibility.
Performance Conversation on Goal, Competency, or DevPlan	Notifies users of a new conversation post or reply post on goals or competencies, according to the defined conversation visibility. See Performance Conversation on Goal, Competency, or DevPlan.
Performance Goal or Competency Assignment	Notifies users when an employee is assigned to or unassigned from a goal or competency. The following versions of the notification are available: Performance Goal or Competency Assignment - Employee Performance Goal or Competency Assignment - Manager See Performance Goal or Competency Assignment.
Performance Goal or Competency Detail Change	Notifies users when the details of an employee's goals or competencies are changed. The following versions of the notification are available: Performance Goal or Competency Detail Change - Employee Performance Goal or Competency Detail Change - Manager See Performance Goal or Competency Detail Change.
Performance Goal Progress Change	Notifies users when the progress of an employee's goal is updated. The following versions of the notification are available: Performance Goal Progress Change - Employee Performance Goal Progress Change - Manager See Performance Goal Progress Change.
Performance Goal Shared	Notifies users when a goal is shared.
Performance Goal Status	Notifies users when goals are overdue or at risk. The following versions of the notification are available: Performance Goal Status - Employee Performance Goal Status - Manager See Performance Goal Status.
Performance Peer Review	Notifies users when actions are taken on peer reviews.
Performance Peer Review Request	Provides a notification when someone sends you a peer review invitation or reminder. Important: You can’t modify the value in the Message Center drop-down list in the Channels tab of System Admin > System Notifications for this notification. This restriction makes sure that users can always receive a peer review request in Message Center.
Performance Review Activation	Notifies users when a review cycle is activated and informs them of when the first step of the review starts or is due. The following versions of the notification are available: Performance Review Activation - Employee Performance Review Activation - Manager See Performance Review Activation.
Performance Review Next Step	Notifies you on the start date that it’s time to begin a review step. See Performance Review Next Step.
Performance Review Re-Opened	Notifies users when a review form is reopened.
Performance Review User Action Submission	Notifies you when a review step is completed and tells you the start date for the next step in the review cycle. See Performance Review User Action Submission.
Performance Review Weight Change	Notifies users when the weights allotted to one or more items in an employee's review form are changed. See Performance Review Weight Change.
