Performance Admin Authority

Dayforce Implementation Guide

Version
R2025.1.1
Performance Admin Authority

In order for administrators to access employees in Performance and Performance Setup, you must assign the Performance Admin authority type in the Work > Management Assignments screen of the People feature. If you don’t assign the Performance Admin authority to administrators of the Performance features, they won’t have location-based access to employees in Performance.

Important: Users with HR roles who are granted Performance Admin authority will be able to access additional information that they would normally be restricted from seeing (such as Employee HR records for all employees in their location).

Note: Users don't need Performance Admin authority to search for employees in the Employee Eligibility tab of Performance Setup > Review Setup > Review Cycles. Here, users can search for any employee that they manage or have location access to in Dayforce. This allows non-employee users of Dayforce, such as system administrators, to assign employees to review cycles. See Manage Employee Eligibility.
