Payroll Import Role Access

You can restrict access to the Payroll Import feature based on user roles. The access options for this role are in System Admin > Roles.

In System Admin > Roles, options under Payroll Import in the Features tab control the role's access to specific tabs in the Payroll Import feature:

  • Payroll Import: Select this checkbox to add access to the Payroll Import feature to the role.
    • Allow Tax Codes: Select this checkbox to add access to tax codes in the Quick Entries tab to the role.
    • Automated Import Assignment: Select this checkbox to add access to the Automated Import Assignment tab to the role.
    • Overview: Select this checkbox to add access to the Overview tab to the role.
    • Payroll Elections: Select this checkbox to add access to the Payroll Elections tab to the role.
      • Publish Payroll Elections: Select this checkbox to add the Publish button to the Payroll Elections tab.
    • Payroll Import - Master User: Select this checkbox to add the Master User access, which is an Admin Default access level that overrides the Business Owner access. Business Owner access is described in Payroll Import User Access.
    • Quick Entries: Select this checkbox to add access to the Quick Entries tab to the role.
      • Manage Terminated Employees
      • Publish Import Quick Entries
