This background job recalculates pay for the pay periods that occur during or intersect the time period defined by the task's settings.
Before You Begin: For configuration recommendations and best practices information about this background job, see Pay Summary Recalc Best Practices.
You can configure the period the job examines using one of the following pairs of settings:
- Weeks before today and Weeks after today: Use these settings to examine a specific week in the past. You can also configure the number of weeks into the future and into the past that Dayforce examines. Any pay periods that intersect with these weeks (that is, any of the dates contained in this period of time) are recalculated.
- Date start and Date end: Use these settings to examine the calculation period for a specific pay period.
- Note: When you run the job using the Date start and Date end settings, the job doesn’t examine the specific duration of dates you entered. The job examines the calculation period that contains the dates you specified. See General Configuration Recommendations.
