In Dayforce, pay rules are used to implement your organization’s pay policies both to suit your business needs. You can configure pay rules to determine aspects of how employees are paid, such as when to pay daily or weekly overtime and when to pay shift premiums. You can also configure pay rules to ensure that your organization is compliant with local, state, and federal labor legislation (for example, configuring guaranteed minimum rest periods). You configure pay rules in Pay Setup > Pay Policy.
