The Pay Period Unlock background job locks or unlocks transmitted pay periods for specific pay groups and sites that you choose.
| Setting | Description |

| Days in the Past | The number of days in the past that the job evaluates when looking for transmitted pay periods to lock or unlock. |
| Pay Group | The pay groups to include in the job’s evaluation. |
| Site | The sites to include in the job’s evaluation. |
| Lock Pay Period | Lock transmitted pay periods that fall within the job’s evaluation period. Leave this checkbox cleared and the job unlocks transmitted pay periods that fall within the job’s evaluation period. |
