Apply quarterly max base cap for ER superannuation

Controls whether superannuation contributions continue once an employee exceeds the quarterly maximum contribution base. Select this checkbox to stop any additional amounts from being deducted and prorate the amount in the current period.

Override min base for ER superannuation

Note: This field was deprecated in release 2025.1.1. This change aligns with the Australian government’s removal of the $450 per month threshold for super guarantee eligibility, from 1 July 2022. Employees must pay super guarantee contributions on all ordinary time earnings.

Minimum threshold amount for Employer Superannuation Generally, the Superannuation Guarantee for Australian employees is paid after the employee has earned more than $450 in one month. This option allows you to enter another value to indicate a minimum threshold other than the standard $450. For example, you can enter a value of 350 according to the Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA) and Restaurant Industry Award (RIA) which is paid once an employee earns $350 a month.
