Overtime Proximity Alert

This background job checks an employee’s normal weekly hours, as configured in the Normal Weekly Hours field in People in the Employment > Employment Settings screen, and compares this to the number of hours that the employee has worked in the current period, plus the value specified in the Offset Hours field. If the worked hours plus the offset are greater than or equal to the normal weekly hours, an alert is sent to subscribed users. See Overtime Proximity.

Setting Description

Offset Hours

A number, an offset of the total normal weekly hours, that determines when the background job triggers an alert. For example, enter 8 to send the alert when an employee is within 8 hours of their normal weekly hours. After an employee with a normal weekly hours amount of 40 has worked 32 hours during the period, the background job triggers an alert.
