You can configure the delivery channels for notifications in System Admin > System Notifications, in the Channels tab. The tab shows a list of notifications grouped into categories with the channel options shown next to them:
The following notification channels are available:
- Message Center: Subscribed users receive these notifications in their Message Center inbox.
- Email: Subscribed users receive these notifications by email. Dayforce sends notifications to the email address that has the Alerts checkbox selected in the screen of People.
- Text Message: Subscribed users receive these notifications by text message on their cell phone. Dayforce sends notifications to the phone number that has the Alerts checkbox selected in the Personal > Contact Information screen of People.
- Mobile App: Subscribed users receive these notifications as push notifications in the Dayforce mobile app.
You can configure each notification to be sent through one or more of these channels. For example, you could configure the Offline Clock notification so that subscribed users receive it by email, while the Employee No Show notification is sent as a text message. Not all notifications can be sent through all of the channels. If a channel isn't available for a notification, Not Available is shown in the Channel column.
