The Monthly Replenish Rule is used in situations where employees don’t receive their entire entitlement balance at the beginning of the year.
Before You Begin: This rule must be used with the Award Prorated Yearly Amount Rule and the Balance Used Qualifier.
Setting | Description |

Include assignment month | Select this checkbox to include the assignment month in the balance calculation when the entitlement policy’s start date isn't on the first day of the month. |
Yearly amount for current level | The employee’s current entitlement balance for the year. |
Yearly amount for next level | The employee’s entitlement balance when they advance to the next entitlement level. |
Level change date | Select an option in the drop-down list to specify when employees advance to the next entitlement level. The options are Hire Date and Seniority Date. |
Level change property if date is not selected | If you didn’t select an option in the Level change date drop-down list, make a selection in the Level change property if date is not selected drop-down list to specify when employees advance to the next entitlement level. |
Transition month use amount for next level | Select this checkbox and, if the if the entitlement recurrence date isn’t the first day of the month, the rule uses the value in the Yearly amount for next level field when calculating the balance amount. |
Use rollover date as start of year | By default, Dayforce uses January 1 as the start of the year when calculating proration. Select this checkbox and Dayforce uses the start date specified for the entitlement’s rollover recurrence instead. |
