This rule defines the maximum number of activities that employees can work each shift.

Note: If you don’t make any selections, the rule applies to all departments, jobs, positions, and activities.
Example
Employees can work a maximum of two activities per shift. You should receive a warning if your schedules don’t meet this requirement.
To configure the rule for this example:
- In the Max # activity segments per shift field, enter 2.
- In the Severity drop-down list, click Warning.
With this configuration, if you schedule employees to work more than two activities per shift, Dayforce shows a warning message in the Problems panel.
