Manage Skills for Job Assignments

In Skills > Job Assignment Skills, you can manage the list of skills and expected proficiency levels associated with each job assignment for the organization. Assigning skills and proficiency levels can improve job recommendations, learning recommendations, and scheduling recommendations throughout Dayforce.

Role feature access: Skills > Job Assignment Skills

When you open the feature, you see a list of all of the job assignments that were configured for the organization in Org Setup > Jobs and Job Assignments. If skills are already assigned to the job assignments, they’re shown in the list for your reference.

If needed, you can filter the list of job assignments using the Filters button. After setting the filter fields, you can apply the filter or save the filter. When saving a filter, you can set it as the default view so that the filters are automatically applied each time you open the feature.

The table below shows the actions that you can take for job assignments in Skills > Job Assignment Skills.

Before You Begin: HR administrators can also manage the skills and proficiency levels for job assignments in Org Setup > Jobs and Job Assignments. Changes in either Skills > Job Assignment Skills or Org Setup > Jobs and Job Assignments are shown in the other feature automatically. For more information about managing skills in Org Setup > Jobs and Job Assignments, see Create Job Assignments.
