Log in to Dayforce Using the Text Message or Voice Call Authentication Method

After you log in for the first time using MFA and set up your account, you need to provide a code in addition to your user name and password when you log in to Dayforce. Depending on how MFA is configured for your organization, you might have to enter a code every time, or you might be able to enter a code once every few days.

Before You Begin: The following instructions assume that you have already logged in using multifactor authentication (MFA) and set up your account. First time login and account setup have additional steps. See First-Time Login with Dayforce Multifactor Authentication.

To log in to Dayforce using MFA:

  1. Open Dayforce and log in.
  2. Select text message or voice call to indicate how you will receive the code and click Continue. A verification code is sent to the number you used when you set up MFA.
  3. Enter the verification code and click Login. If you don’t receive a code, click Log in another way to try again.
