Before You Begin: You must run the Benefits Intelligence Data Preprocessing background job before your first use of the Benefits Intelligence feature and on or after you start a new plan year. This job processes enrollment and rate eligibility data before passing it to Benefits Intelligence. You can run the Benefits Intelligence Data Preprocessing background job by clicking Benefits Intelligence Data Processing in the Select Period and Plan Group dialog box in Benefits Intelligence and the toolstrip in Benefits Setup > Benefits Decision Support. See Benefits Intelligence Data Preprocessing.
To load a period and plan group:
- Go to Benefits Intelligence and click Load.
- In the Select Period and Plan Group dialog box, select one of the following options in the Period drop-down list:
- Current Plan Year
- Previous Plan Year
- Under Plan Group, select an existing plan group or take the following steps to create one:
- Click Add.
- In the Add Plan Group dialog box, enter a name for the group in the Plan Group Name field.
- In the Plans drop-down list, select all of the plans that you want to include in the plan group. All plans in the plan group must have the same plan year. You can add plans to multiple plan groups.
- Click Add to save the group and return to the Select Period and Plan Group dialog box.
- Click Load Period.
You can edit or delete any plan group except the All Plans plan group. To change which plans are part of a plan group, or to delete a plan group entirely, click Load in the toolstrip from anywhere in Benefits Intelligence. This reopens the Select Period and Plan Group dialog box where you can make these updates.
