Level Qualifier

You can use the Level Qualifier to restrict rules to jobs that have reached a specific job set level. The qualifier can be configured to examine all jobs, or just the employee’s primary job. For example, you could use this qualifier to restrict a rule so that it only applies to primary jobs that have reached level 3.

Level Qualifier settings
Setting Description
Level reference code Enter the cross-reference code for the job set level a job must be at to qualify for the associated rule. This code must be unique and must not contain special characters. For example, if you enter the cross-reference code for job set level 2, Dayforce restricts the rule to jobs that have reached job set level 2.
Include current day Select this checkbox and Dayforce examines the current day. When cleared, Dayforce examines the previous day when determining what job set level a job has reached.
Primary job only Select this checkbox and Dayforce only examines an employee’s primary job. When cleared, Dayforce examines all of the jobs an employee can work to determine if any of them have reached the specified job set level.
Disqualify Select this checkbox and Dayforce disqualifies jobs based on the other settings in the qualifier, instead of qualifying them. For example, if you select this checkbox and enter the cross-reference code for job set level 3 in the Level reference code field, the associated rule wouldn’t apply to any jobs that have reached job set level 3.
