Labor Metrics

In the Labor Metrics tab, Dayforce shows the user-defined labor metric types that were configured for your organization in Org Setup. When you add one or more of these types to a time entry policy, they’re shown on employee timesheets and schedules and can be used to record and track specific work details.

Note: The Labor Metrics tab is shown only if there is at least one labor metric type configured in Dayforce. See Configure User-Defined Labor Metrics.

To add a labor metric type to a time entry policy:

  1. Go to Pay Setup > Time Entry Policy.
  2. In the left side panel, select a time entry policy.
  3. Click the Labor Metrics tab.
  4. Select a labor metric type in the Available column, and then click the right arrow button () to move it to the Selected column. If you want to remove it from the Selected column, click the left arrow button (), and it’s moved back into the Available column.
  5. Note: You can add a maximum of ten labor metrics to a single time entry policy.
  6. (Optional) Select a labor metric type in the Selected column, and click the up or down arrows to modify the order in which the types are shown on employee timesheets and schedules.
  7. Click Save.
