In the Labor Metrics tab, Dayforce shows the user-defined labor metric types that were configured for your organization in Org Setup. When you add one or more of these types to a time entry policy, they’re shown on employee timesheets and schedules and can be used to record and track specific work details.
Note: The Labor Metrics tab is shown only if there is at least one labor metric type configured in Dayforce. See Configure User-Defined Labor Metrics.
To add a labor metric type to a time entry policy:
- Go to Pay Setup > Time Entry Policy.
- In the left side panel, select a time entry policy.
- Click the Labor Metrics tab.
- Select a labor metric type in the Available column, and then click the right arrow button (
) to move it to the Selected column. If you want to remove it from the Selected column, click the left arrow button (
), and it’s moved back into the Available column.
- Note: You can add a maximum of ten labor metrics to a single time entry policy.
- (Optional) Select a labor metric type in the Selected column, and click the up or down arrows to modify the order in which the types are shown on employee timesheets and schedules.
- Click Save.
